The ‘Hustle

This is the start of great bloggin’ thangs!

Let’s just cut to the chase, shall we? From Politics to Music, this ride is going to be irreverent, but strangely relevant… The Hustle is going to “sell aggressively” the author’s view of various subjects, so undoubtedly, you’re going to want to bookmark this site, and come back often to check out the latest and greatest that we have to offer.

“So, why am I doing this,” you might ask. Well, first, I have a big mouth figuratively and literally, and lots of opinions spew forth. Some of these opinions are liberal, most are libertarian — if you don’t know the difference, check out this definition. There are going to be a smattering of downright conservative right-wing ideas, and others that might be construed as faith-based (but never proselytizing). And since I have the various and sundry ideas, I might as well have a forum to drop knowledge, talk shit (yeah, this is an ADULT blog), crack jokes, poke fun, and generally be considered verbally obnoxious by someone. You know, great change has never been accomplished by making everyone comfortable.

Most of all, the web allows all of us to have a voice, to influence, and to enlighten — and be enlightened. So I hope to learn as much from my (future) readers and contributors as they might learn from me. Yo, this time in history is great for the power of the people, should they choose to use it. Blogs, wikis, homemade music, podcasting…These are the great democratizing equalizers that technology can provide (yeah, we’ll talk about the digital divide coming up sometime soon)… So if you believe in democracy and equality, want to have fun, and need a good laugh from time to time, let’s get it on…
